Anigunya and Welcome!
Blak Arts Collective is a program of Arts Upper Hunter in partnership with the Wanaruah Local Aboriginal Land Council and other organisations across the region (bounded by the LGAs of Dungog, Muswellbrook, Singleton and Upper Hunter).
Funded by the Australian Government’s Indigenous Visual Arts Industry Support Scheme, its goals are to upskill local Aboriginal artists, help them sell work, employ First Nations people, and inspire young and emerging artists. Market stalls, a schools program, a vibrant new logo and serious attention to local First Nations artists are all part of the mix.

Acknowledgment of Country
Blak Arts Collective acknowledges the First Nations people who are the traditional custodians of the lands and waters on which we live, work and create. We pay our respects to the members of those communities and to Elders, past, present and emerging.
